DAB Heaven

I'm probably behind the times here but I've just invested in a digital radio. How cool are these beauties? Set it up in the bathroom and I've just spent an idyllic hour wallowing in the tub listening to Planet Rock. The playlist of 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway', 'Market Square Heroes', 'Fanfare For The Common Man' and 'Money' took me back twenty years to when I'd do the same listening to Tommy Vance or Alan Freeman on Radio One every weekend. That was of course in a bygone era when Radio One made time in the schedule for quality rock shows.

No more book developments to report back on - things are being costed which will determine book formats. But to answer several peoples question, there will be enough of the planned limited edition version to go around. It's just a case of getting the numbers right to satisfy the demand and ensuring that the quality of this version is really top notch. Naturally some compromises have had to be made to the style of the book I'd liked to have released in an ideal (and in reality, non-existent) world, but the publishers have stepped up to the plate and pretty much share my vision. Certainly, the other offers on the table were simply standard books (think cheap paper, black and white photos, strict word counts etc ) that really wouldn't have been fitting.
